According to the Australian Child Maltreatment Study (ACMS, 2023), more than one in four children in Australia have experienced sexual abuse - and independent data shows this harm is increasing year on year.
The rapid growth of online technology has made it easier for perpetrators to target and exploit children, expanding both the scale and complexity of CSEA. At ICMEC Australia, we are working to change that.
